Why We Love Gili T – Bali’s Hidden Gem

Why We Love Gili T - Bali’s Hidden Gem

Gili Trawangan, commonly known as Gili T, is a small island located in the northwest of Lombok, Indonesia. The island is part of the Gili Islands, which also includes Gili Air and Gili Meno. Gili T is the largest and most popular of the three islands, known for its beautiful beaches, crystal clear waters, and vibrant nightlife.

One of the main attractions of Gili T is its beaches. The island is surrounded by white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters that make it a perfect destination for swimming, snorkeling, and diving. The beaches are also great for sunbathing, with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas available for rent. The most popular beaches on the island are the main beach, which runs along the west coast of the island, and the south beach, which is known for its beautiful sunsets.

Another popular activity we love exploring on Gili T is snorkelling and diving. The island is surrounded by coral reefs and is home to a wide variety of marine life, including turtles, tropical fish, and manta rays. Included in our trip itinerary is a full day of underwater photoshoots and up close exploration of the island’s marine life.

Gili T is also known for its vibrant nightlife. The island is home to a number of bars, clubs, and restaurants that offer a variety of entertainment options. The main strip on the island is a great place to start, with a wide range of bars and clubs to choose from. There are also a number of beachside bars that offer live music and DJ sets.

Stepping away from our photoshoot trips, if you’re looking for something a little more relaxed, Gili T also has plenty of options for yoga and meditation. There are several yoga studios and retreat centers on the island that offer yoga classes and workshops. The island is also home to a number of yoga retreats that provide the perfect environment for relaxation and meditation.

Another popular activity on Gili T is cycling. The island is small enough to be easily explored by bike, and there are several bike rental shops on the island. Cycling is a great way to see the island and explore its many beaches and villages.

Gili T is also a great destination for foodies. The island is home to a wide variety of restaurants and cafes that offer a range of cuisines. You can find everything from traditional Indonesian food to international cuisine on the island. The island is also known for its seafood, with a number of restaurants serving fresh fish and seafood dishes.

For these reasons, our extended Bali trip to the beautiful and peaceful island of Gili T is highly recommended. With its crystal clear waters and lush greenery, the island is a true paradise! Don’t just take our words for it though, press play to watch our Gili T video below or click here.

Stuff your eyes with wonder, live as if you’d drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It’s more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories.
